Tangle List will not be updated for the rest of 2018. Sadly, this means missing the 12 Days of Zentangle® event where Zentangle Official releases new tangles, videos, and other content. Any new official new tangles released this month will be added to the List of Official Zentangle Patterns at a later date.
I’ve received a lot of support from readers since starting Tangle List, and I feel like they deserve an explanation for the lack of updates. Well, here it is. My father passed away in November. It was unexpected. We were close.
Obviously my heart is not in Tangle List right now. I don’t have the energy to keep up on tangle news, blogs, and social media. I’ll be slow at answering email over the next few weeks.
I deeply appreciate all of the support I’ve received since starting Tangle List. I appreciate all of the kind emails and comments I’ve received. I appreciate everyone who has subscribed, followed, Like’d, and shared Tangle List. I appreciate the lurkers out there, too. Thank you.
Update 12/16/18: I took advantage of some unexpected downtime to catch up on the 12 Days of Zentangle. The List of Official Tangle Patterns has been updated with videos from that event. Mostly, I wanted to make sure that some of the more “incomplete” sections of the list—Centipede, Sampson, Wadical, Quabog, Knase, and a few others—were filled in with the new videos. I’m still officially taking a break from Tangle List, and don’t have a time frame for when new blog posts and website updates will resume.

I am so sorry to read about your loss. when my mom passed away I lost all interest in drawing for quite awhile. it hasn’t completely come back but I am feeling more optimistic about it. prayers for you and your family, hugs a plenty. we will be here when you are ready to have another go at it. you are so appreciated, but you have to come first. <3

I am sorry about your loss. Your ‘road block’ is understandable. Time will ebb the sharpest pain, but never memories. We will not go anywhere, we will still be here when you have regained the strength and joy to attend to your site again. My thoughts are with you.
